Shake It Out
Friday: least busy day of the week.
Bollocks, rumour, complete and utter bullshit.
It's nice to finally find something out for myself. I came in a little later than usual today. I had my hair properly washed and conditioned. It's been long since i've got a morning hairwash because of the red hair dye. Drove to work for the first time this morning and in simple terms, got lost in the carpark. I literally had to wait for someone else to come by and follow her up and out of the darkness, and silence.
Saviour! Wooh, everything's looking good. One on leave today. Less divisions so i guess that really just means more individual work for the R.AGE team. The whole team is nowhere in sight right now. If they're having a meeting now, which i am in the midst of missing, i am officially doomed. I almost missed the first one because i headed out to get myself a bottle of soymilk. It's times like this one that i thank God hard that i am only an intern. And then again, aren't the interns also the punching bags? :(
I've been working on getting contacts for next week's stories. Everything's a bit all over the place and scattered right now which means, no good. One says pressure, one says no pressure. I am honestly lost in where i should be heading, in every aspect possible. I will, however, try my very best to stay on everyone's good books. Like i told my colleague ytd, "This is actually the longest relationship (4 days) i have ever had with an institution of people who haven't started hating on me yet." Usually, all it takes is one glance and boom, the perfect chemistry for every negative emotion (I don't think this even needs magic words). In the corporate world, i guess they are much less judgmental. And if less judgmental is what they really are, then three cheers for me :)
Right, i just found out. No meeting or whatsoever taking place or took place for that matter. I am again safe and, sound. Work is good. That's about the only positive adjective i can find in my vocab right now. It does have a very positive ring to it though. Vague, but you know, still extremely positive. I just got passes to the Twilight Saga Marathon!!! Not for self-watching pleasure tho. There are actually people who have won these passes. Don't know how or when or why but as intern, i have to do "kuli" work and give them out at Curve later.
Lovely, just lovely.
I'm just waiting on my toes to see how the rest of today plays out.
Do i end up in one piece,
or do i slowly, gradually shatter as the sun hits the floor?
xx
